Professional photography and videography of any kind is prohibited in Shinola Hotel’s public spaces (lobby, hallways, restaurants, etc.) without prior express approval. However, guests and visitors are welcome to take photos and videos for personal or social media usage. Please contact the hotel directly with questions.

Smoking is strictly prohibited by the State of Michigan in hotel rooms and indoor public spaces. In addition to any fines or penalties by the State, the hotel will impose a smoking fee equal to $500 or one-night room charge, plus tax—whichever is greater.

We’ve got you covered! Our Lending Program offers a curated selection of Shinola timepieces for guests to borrow throughout their stay. The program is currently available to guests aged 21+ staying in our suite and penthouse room categories, and is bookable by contacting our reservations department.

Yes, we offer 24-hour valet services. Valet is $50 per night, with overnight parking available for hotel guests only. Temporary valet parking is available for visitors at a rate of $25 for up to four hours.
